The island of San Servolo offers accommodation all year round for people visiting Venice for congresses, conventions, training and refresher courses. The Centro Soggiorno e Studi is available to students, teachers, scholars, professors and researchers, writers and artists, and anyone wanting to learn more about our region and its historic-artistic, environmental and natural characteristics. The structure can receive over 300 people and has 173 rooms in five buildings in one of Venice’s prettiest parks, with centuries-old plants and a variety of tree species. Rooms are single and twin (two single beds), with three or four beds, and suites. The rooms are bright and functional, overlooking the lagoon on one side and the large garden on the other. All rooms have bathroom, telephone and television, air conditioning and free WiFi.

Prices are per room and include 10% VAT. Since 24 August 2011, visitors to Venice are required to pay a visitor’s tax in cash prior to their departure. The amount varies according to the period. Prices do not include breakfast. A buffet breakfast is served from 7:30 to 10:00 at the San Servolo Restaurant at a cost of € 9.00 per person. It is also served at the San Servolo Cafè. * These special prices apply only for long stays by students. ** Special room rates can be arranged for congresses, events and long stays for study purposes.

RECEPTION SERVICES
The reception is open 24 hours a day (tel.: 041 276 5001). Our multilingual staff is available to provide information on island activities (conventions, exhibits, concerts, etc.), major events in the city and to make your stay more pleasant.

Check out:
before 11:00 AM on the departure date with automatic deactivation of the magnetic key.
Payments:
Visa, Euro/MasterCard, Maestro, CartaSi credit cards are accepted.
Cancellations and penalties:
cancellation conditions and room deposit vary according to prior agreements between the parties.
Luggage deposit and post:
an unguarded luggage deposit and a mail box are available. The reception can receive letters and/or packages for guests.
Public transport:
tickets are sold for public water bus; ACTV line 20 connects the island of San Servolo with San Marco (San Zaccaria MVE water bus stop), and Lido di Venezia during the Venice International Film Festival (timetables available at www.actv.it). Water buses depart every half hour; travel time is 8 minutes.
Water taxi:
a water taxi can be reserved at the reception.
ISLAND SERVICES
San Servolo Cafè:
the coffee shop is open daily from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Hot and cold beverage vending machines are available in the residences.
San Servolo Restaurant:
buffet breakfasts (8:30 to 10:00) for €9.00; lunch service (12:00 to 2:30) and dinner service (7:00 to 10:00) . For info adn reservation: sanservolo@artandfoodgroup.it
Sports courts: courts are available for tennis, basketball and five-a-side football (on request). Please contact the reception for information and reservations.
Barbecue area:
a picnic and barbecue area is available for reservation from April to October near the sports courts, in a relaxed and informal atmosphere that’s also suitable for children. Please contact the reception for information and reservations.
